Gerd Schwartz

Gerd Schwartz is a Deputy Director of the International Monetary Fund’s Fiscal Affairs Department. He has previously worked with the European Investment Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, and done research on fiscal and macroeconomic policy issues, particularly expenditure policies. He holds a PhD in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
