Gianluigi Ferrucci

Gianluigi Ferrucci is Principal Economist at the European Central Bank (ECB). He joined the ECB in 2006, holding various positions in the International, Economics, and Monetary Policy departments. In 2013-2014 he worked as Adviser in the ECB Representation office at the International Monetary Fund. Prior to joining the ECB, he was an Economist at the Bank of England. His research interests are in monetary policy, international economics, macroeconomics, financial stability and climate change. His research is published in several peer-reviewed academic journals, including the Journal of the European Economic Association, the International Journal of Central Banking and the Journal of International Money and Finance.
