Gilberto Marcheggiano is Executive Director, Macro Portfolio Manager and Economist at Goldman Sachs Asset Management International, which he joined in 2012. He previously worked as an Economist in the Monetary Policy Committee unit at the Bank of England and was Economic Researcher at Her Majesty’s Treasury. His research has focused on monetary and fiscal policy as well as financial stability and macroprudential policy. Gilberto holds a first class honours BSc in International Business and Economics and an MSc in Finance and Economics (with distinction) from the University of Warwick. He is a CFA charterholder.
