Giovanni Callegari

Economist, Autonomy Capital Research LLP is an Economist at Autonomy Capital Research LLP. Prior to joining Autonomy Capital, he was an Economist at the IMF and then a Lead Economist at the ECB, working mostly on crisis countries, fiscal policy and labour markets. His research has focused on fiscal policy and, prior to that, international trade with publications in the Journal of Monetary Economics, American Economic Journal - Macroeconomics, Economic Policy and Applied Economics. He obtained his Ph.D. in economics at the European University Institute, Florence, and an M.Sc. in economics at the University of Warwick.
