Giovanni D'Alessio is the Head of the Sample Survey Division at the Economics, Research and International Relations Area of the Bank of Italy. Graduated in Economics at University of Naples Federico II, he earned his PhD in Statistics at University of Rome La Sapienza. He is author of several research papers on the measurement of economic well being and on income and wealth distribution.
