Giovanni Marin is Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth of the National Research Council of Italy (IRCrES-CNR) and Visiting Researcher at the French Economic Observatory (OFCE-SciencesPo). His research focuses on the evaluation of the economic effects of environmental technological change and environmental policy. He has published in various journal including Ecological Economics, Research Policy, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Industrial and Corporate Change and Environmental and Resource Economics. He is also Research Affiliate at the interuniversity centre SEEDS (Sustainability Environmental Economics and Dynamics Studies, Ferrara, Italy). He serves as Consultant for the European Topic Centre on Waste, Materials and the Green Economy of the European Environment Agency and for the Italian Ministry of Environment. Giovanni received a M.A. in Applied Economics and Economic Policy from the University of Ferrara (2008) and a Ph.D. in Economics, Markets and Institutions from the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca in 2012.
