Giuseppe Sorrenti is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Amsterdam School of Economics (University of Amsterdam). He got his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Turin and Collegio Carlo Alberto in 2016. Prior to moving to Amsterdam in 2020, he has been a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich. His main research areas are labor economics, with the main focus on child development and the human capital accumulation process, and political economy with interests in crime and corruption.
