Glenn Hoggarth

Senior Economist in the International Directorate at Bank Of England

Glenn Hoggarth is currently Senior Economist in the Bank of England's International Directorate. Previously, he worked in a number of divisions in the Bank's financial and monetary stability areas as well as in its Centre for Central Banking Studies. He has been on numerous technical missions to other central banks advising on financial and monetary policy issues. Before joining the Bank of England he worked for a number of years as a private sector Economist.Glenn was educated in economics at the University of Warwick (BA) and Churchill College, Cambridge (M Phil). He has many articles published on monetary and financial economics. His current research interests are the international monetary and financial system, international capital flows, banking and sovereign crises and financial stability policies.
