Gonzalo Asis is a PhD candidate in Economics at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research is in the fields of International Finance and Emerging Markets, with a focus on corporate debt and default risk. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Applied Mathematics with honors from Presbyterian College and a M.S. in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill.
