Gustavo Ventura

Gustavo Ventura is currently a Professor in the Department of Economics at the WP Carey School of Business in Arizona State University (ASU). Prior to joining ASU, Gustavo was a faculty member at the University of Iowa, Pennsylvania State University and the University of Western Ontario. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He concentrates his research in topics such as taxation, economic development and the determinants of inequality, and has published his academic work in journals such as the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Monetary Economics. He is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
