Hannah Liepmann

Economist, Research Department at International Labour Organization

Hannah Liepmann joined the ILO Research Department in 2018, where she works as an Economist in the Labour Market Trends and Policy Evaluation Unit. Her fields of interest are in labor economics and applied micro-econometrics, with a focus on studying how labor market policies and other drivers of change affect the integration of marginalized groups into quality employment. Hannah obtained her PhD in Economics from Humboldt-University Berlin. At Humboldt-University, she also worked as a research assistant within the Collaborative Research Center “Rationality and Competition”. In addition, Hannah has been a visiting researcher at the Institute for Research on Labour and Employment (IRLE) at UC Berkeley and the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg.
