Helene Bohn-Jespersen

Economic analyst, policy officer for the G20/G7 and IMF, DG Economic and Financial Affairs at European Commission

Helene Bohn-Jespersen joined the European Commission in 2013 as a Seconded National Expert from the Danish Central Bank. Helene provides analysis on the international financial architecture and prepares G7 and G20 meetings for the Commission. Previously she worked as an economist for the National Bank of Denmark with a focus on international economics and policy. During the Danish EU Council Presidency Helene worked in the Ministry for Economic and Interior Affairs as Head of Section where she was the Danish coordinator for the EU’s Economics and Finance Ministers’ Council meetings (ECOFIN). She was also government appointed member of the Committee to Investigate the Causes of the Financial Crisis in Denmark and has work experience from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Helene was educated at the University of Copenhagen and the Ludwig-Maximillians University in Munich.
