Henrike Leonie Groeger is a PhD Student at the European University Institute in Florence. After her Master in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences she worked as a Research Assistant in at the Swiss National Bank. In 2019, she was a PhD trainee at the European Central Bank, where her research was focused on the determinants of banking crises. Her main research interests are in capital structure theory, banking regulation and international finance.
