Hiroko Oura

Senior Economics at International Monetary Fund

Hiroko Oura is a Senior Economist at the IMF. She has worked on macroeconomic issues of dynamic emerging markets such as India and financial sector issues, including stress testing and global financial stability analysis. She conducted the IMF’s stress testing exercise for Italy, Japan, U.S., Russia, Luxembourg, and Kenya. More recently, she contributes to the IMF’s Global Financial Stability Report on topics including capital flows, bank funding structures and pricing, and sovereign CDS markets. Hiroko received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
