Idris Ademuyiwa

Idris Ademuyiwa is a CIGI research associate in the Global Economy Program. He has a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in economics from the University of Ibadan and an M.A. in economics from the University of Waterloo. Prior to joining CIGI, Idris was a research fellow and head of the Trade Investment and Growth Unit at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa, Abuja. Idris’s current research focuses on central banking, macroprudential policy and international financial regulations. His research interests also include international macroeconomics, Sub-Saharan African economies and regional trade agreements. Idris has produced chapters in books and published in peer-reviewed academic journals, including Energy Economics and Economics Bulletin.
