Ignazio Angeloni is a Senior Fellow in the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government of the Harvard Kennedy School and in the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. In 2014-2019 he was member of the ECB supervisory board. In 2012-2013, as head of financial stability in the ECB, he coordinated the preparations for the single supervisory mechanism. In his earlier career he held positions in the Bank of Italy and Italy’s Finance Ministry. Ignazio holds a degree from Bocconi university and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and has published books and articles in leading academic journals.
