Iichiro Uesugi is a professor at the Institute of Economic Research of Hitotsubashi University, Japan. He is also a faculty fellow at the Research Institute of the Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI). His research interests focus on banking, corporate finance, and firm dynamics. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego.
