Ilai Levin

Young Associate Economist at Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD)

Ilai Levin is a Young Associate economist in the OECD, working in the Going for Growth and Green Growth and Resource Allocation workstreams of the Economics Department. His research work in this framework aims at helping countries assess and tackle their structural challenges in a variety of areas, with a special focus on addressing climate change. In his past academic work and position as a research assistant to the Governor of the Bank of Israel, Ilai has engaged in academic and policy research in various areas, including inequality and poverty, welfare economics, education and worker skills and monetary policy. He holds a Bachelor’s in PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
