Ilan Tojerow

Associate Professor of Economics at ECARES, Université Libre De Bruxelles

Ilan Tojerow is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn. Since January 2017, he has served as director of the Dulbea, a research center that merges academic and public policy interests and is based at the ULB. With an expertise in policies related to labour, disability, and gender, Tojerow has published in leading economic journals while also producing policy analyses for various state agencies in Belgium and beyond. He is currently running a Randomized Control Trial to evaluate different rehabilitation programs for recipients of disability insurance, exploring fiscal competition across municipalities to study its consequences on the housing market and studying the link between the allocation of paternity leave and long-term maternal health.
