Inna Melnykovska

Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science at Central European University

Inna Melnykovska is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Central European University and an Associate Researcher at the CEU Democracy Institute. She holds a Ph.D. from the Free University of Berlin. Her research focuses on the interaction between global, regional, and local forces in shaping modern politico-economic systems in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on the transformation processes in Eastern Europe and Eurasia. Her research has been published in Journal of Common Market Studies, Europe-Asia Studies, and Post-Soviet Affairs, among others. Her current book project explores the impact of global capital mobility, developmental finance, and financial sanctions on business-state relations in Ukraine and Russia.
