Irena Grosfeld is researcher at the Paris School of Economics. She received a Ph.D. from the University Paris I - Sorbonne and a master’s degree from the University of Warsaw. She served as researcher and senior researcher at the National Center of Scientific Research in Paris, France. She is member of the Advisory Council of the CASE Foundation in Warsaw and a member of the board of the Center for Economic Analysis in Szczecin in Poland. She was an invited Fellow at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research interests include political economics, development economics, and economics of transition. Grosfeld has been published in multiple journals, including the American Economic Journal, European Economic Review, Journal of Comparative Economics, Economics of Transition, and the Journal of Economic Literature.
