Ismael Ahmad Fontan is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank based in Vienna, Austria. He specializes in banking supervision, regulation, and recovery and resolution planning. He worked in the G-SIB Supervision Department of the Bank of Spain, where he engaged in on-site and off-site supervisory activities, including on-site inspections, and SREP assessments.
