Israel Osorio Rodarte is an economist specialized in international development. His professional interests lie in the areas of development planning, diversification and structural change and in the distributional analysis of economic policy. He has participated in development projects for a large number of countries across the globe working for think tanks and international organizations such as the German Development Institute, the OCDE, United Nations, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank. He has published in the Review of Development Economics, the Journal of Policy Modelling, the Journal of African Economies, the Journal of Economic Integration and World Development. He is a regular contributor to flagship publications from the World Bank. He is a post-graduate alumnus from Georgetown University and Tecnológico de Monterrey. He lives in Washington, D.C.
