Jaime Martínez-Martín is Head of the Monetary Policy Strategy Unit at Bank of Spain. Previously, he worked as a Senior Economist at the European Central Bank and BBVA Research. He received his PhD in Economics from Universitat de Barcelona and holds a MSc in Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven. His research focuses on macroeconomic modelling, monetary policy and business cycles and has been published in journals such as the International Journal of Central Banking or the International Journal of Forecasting.
