Jakob Schneebacher

Assistant Director

Jakob is an economist at the CMA, where he helped establish the research-focused Microeconomics Unit. He previously led the Office for National Statistics’ (ONS) microdata research on management practices and business dynamism, and held a research fellowship at Nuffield College, Oxford. Jakob is a visiting fellow at King’s College London (KCL) and a research associate at the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE). Jakob’s research focuses on how firms are created, compete, adapt and grow.
