J. Lawrence Broz

J. Lawrence Broz is Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego. He specializes in the political economy of international trade and finance. His his current research examines the impact of trade and the World Trade Organization on political behavior within the United States. More broadly, he is interested in international economic cooperation, international organizations, and the politics that sustains or degrades global economic cooperation. He has published in top political science journals, including the American Journal of Political Science, International Organization, the Review of International Organizations, and Economic and Politics. Prior to coming to UC San Diego, he held positions at Harvard University and New York University.
