J. James Reade is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Reading. He gained his D.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford in 2007, and between 2009 and 2013 was a Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. His research primarily focusses on sport, both as a vehicle to understand more about economic activity, but also as an applied topic in economics.
