James Talbot

James Talbot is the Head of the Monetary Assessment and Strategy Division at the Bank of England. His responsibilities include overseeing the design and development of unconventional monetary policies and the assessment of monetary and credit conditions for the Monetary Policy Committee. James’ other roles at the Bank of England have included: working as an Adviser on domestic and European macroprudential policy issues; leading the preparation of the UK forecast for the Inflation Report; and managing the international analysis team. James was UK Alternate Executive Director at the IMF from September 2008- September 2010.
