Janka Stoker is since 2003 professor of leadership and organizational change, and director of expertise-center In the LEAD at the Faculty of Economics and Business at University of Groningen. From 2009-2014 she acted as faculty vice-dean. Previously, she worked as a senior managing consultant for Berenschot. Her main research areas are leadership, top management teams, gender and stereotypes, middle management, and power. She served as a member of the supervisory board of the University of Twente, and is also currently chair of the supervisory board of the Economic Board Groningen.
