Javier Vázquez-Grenno is currently an Assistant Professor at the Universitat de Barcelona and a researcher at the Barcelona Economics Institute. He holds an Economic degree from The Universidad de la Repúblicain Uruguay and a PhD in Economics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His research focuses on labor economics, in particular, the economics of immigration, and on the economics of the public sector.
