Jean-Marie Grether is Professor of International Economics at the University of Neuchâtel since 2000. He has been Dean of the Faculty of Economics, in 2009-2011 and 2013-2015. He has been teaching in Europe, Mexico and Argentina. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Geneva in 1995. His areas of expertise are trade policy (political economy, impacts on competitiveness), international migration, inequalities, development and the environment.
