Jean-Paul L'Huillier

Associate Professor of Economics at Brandeis University

Jean-Paul L'Huillier is currently at Brandeis University, and previously was at the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance and a visiting Faculty member at Yale University. An expert on the study of business cycles, his recent research concentrates on how to perform suitable monetary policies in environments of chronic liquidity traps, and on understanding medium-term macroeconomic boom-bust cycles. He has published more than 10 academic articles in refereed journals including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Monetary Economics, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
