Jennifer Poole

Jennifer P. Poole is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is also an Affiliated Faculty Member in the Department of Latin American and Latino Studies. Her research and teaching interests fall at the intersection of international trade, labour economics, and development economics. Professor Poole joined the UCSC faculty in 2007 from the University of California, San Diego, where she received her Ph.D. in Economics. Her broad research agenda considers the effects of global integration on local labour markets. In particular, recent work investigates the impact of information transfer in international trade and investment, and the impact of globalisation on factor reallocation and factor prices.
