Jeremy Laurent-Lucchetti

Jeremy Laurent-Lucchetti is professor of economics at the Geneva School of Economics and Management of the University of Geneva. He finished his Ph.D. at HEC Montreal (University of Montreal) in 2009 and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Bern and invited researcher at the Toulouse School of Economics. His research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, environmental economics and development economics and focus in explaining the roots of violent conflicts. He is a member of the CEPR Policy and Research Network (PRN) on "Preventing Conflict: Policies for Peace". He has published in scientific journals such as the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Games and Economic Behavior or the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy. He has worked on several policy reports for a number of institutions such as the United Nations, the Quebec ministry of Transportation or the Canadian Ministry of Agriculture.
