Jess Palka is the WiE Chief Editor, and a doctoral student at the Mercator Graduate Programme for Open-Mindedness, Tolerance and Public Engagement at the University Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Her research focuses on using participatory research methods to understand the value of unpaid labour within the local, socially-embedded economy.
