Jianjun Miao is Professor of Economics at Boston University, and an Associate Editor of Economic Theory, Journal of Mathematical Economics, and Macroeconomic Dynamics. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1992 and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester in 2003. Professor Miao’s main research areas are finance and macroeconomics. He publishes extensively in top economics and finance journals including American Economic Review, Econometrica, and Journal of Finance. He is the author of the book Economic Dynamics in Discrete Time published by the MIT Press.
