Jimmy Lopez

Assistant Professor of Economics at Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté

Jimmy Lopez is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Burgundy, member of the Laboratoire de Economie de Dijon (LEDi) and Consulting Advisor at the Banque de France. He studied at the University of Aix-Marseille and completed his Ph.D. in Economics at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in 2011.Lopez has done empirical investigations on panel data, focusing on labor and product market regulations, information and communication technology, innovation and productivity. He has published in the American Economic Review, Applied Economic Letters, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, International Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics and Review of Income and Wealth. He teaches Econometrics at the Faculty of Law and Economics of the University of Burgundy.
