Jimmy Lopez

Professor of Economics at Université de Bourgogne

Jimmy Lopez is Professor of Economics at the University of Burgundy and a member of the Laboratoire de Economie de Dijon (LEDi). He studied at the University of Aix-Marseille and completed his PhD in Economics at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in 2011. Lopez has done empirical investigations using panel data, focusing on labor and product market regulations, innovation and productivity. He has published in the American Economic Review, Applied Economic Letters, Comparative Economic Studies, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, International Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics and Review of Income and Wealth. He teaches econometrics at the Faculty of Law and Economics of the University of Burgundy, of which he is the Dean.
