Joan Calzada is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Barcelona. He holds an MSc in economics from the University College of London and a PhD in economics from the University of Barcelona. Some of his research interests are the economic regulation of public services, digital economics and air transportation. His research has been published in academic journals such as The Economic Journal, The International Journal of Industrial Organization, Regional Studies and Marketing Science. He has advised numerous government agencies, including the European Commission, CNMC and Senatel.
