Joan Monras is a Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Prior to moving to San Francisco, he was a Kenen Fellow at Princeton University, an associate professor of economics at UPF, at CEMFI and at Sciences Po. He did his PhD in Economics at Columbia University, where he graduated in 2014. He is currently a research affiliate at CEPR, IZA, and CReAM, and an associate researcher at CREI (on-leave).
