Joe Seydl is a Senior Associate in the Global Economics research team, working under Citi's Chief Economist Willem Buiter. Based in New York, Joe is responsible for researching on globally thematic macro topics, such as growth and investment trends in the advanced economies as well as trade linkages in emerging markets. Joe contributes to Citi's Global Economics View and Global Perspectives publications.Prior to joining Citi in 2013, Joe worked as an Economic Research Analyst at Wells Fargo, covering US state, local and macro trends. Joe holds a Master's degree in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics and a BA degree in Mathematics and Economics from Lehigh University. In his spare time, Joe volunteers with New York Needs You, a non-profit organisation devoted to improving economic mobility for low-income college students in New York City.
