Jon Bridges is a Senior Economist at the Bank of England, shortly to go on secondment to the Reserve Bank of Australia. His specialisms are in the UK economic forecast and in the monetary transmission mechanism. He studied for his undergraduate and MPhil degrees in economics at the University of Cambridge.
