Jonathan Timmis

Jonathan Timmis is a research economist at the IFC - World Bank Group. He is also an External Affiliate of University of Nottingham's research centre on Globalisation and Economic Policy, an Affiliate of CESifo's Digitalisation Research Group, and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Previously, he worked at the OECD, Productivity and Business Dynamics Division and was a Junior Fellow of the Royal Economic Society and a Fellow of the Overseas Development Institute. Jonathan's research is in the areas of digitalisation and technological change, firm productivity and globalisation. His research covers the effects of technology diffusion on trade and firm performance and the implications of changes in the structure of trade networks for firms. Jonathan holds a PhD in Economics from the the University of Nottingham.
