Jorge Miranda-Pinto is Senior Economist at the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund, and Senior Lecturer (on-leave) in Economics at the University of Queensland. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia. His main research interests lie in the fields of applied macroeconomic theory and empirical macroeconomics.
