Joris de Wind is Economist at the Research Department of De Nederlandsche Bank and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Amsterdam. His Ph.D. project started in 2008 and his supervisor is professor Wouter den Haan. He holds an M.Phil. in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute. His research concerns time-varying vector autoregressive models, higher-order perturbation approximations, and employment protection legislation.
