Jose Luis Diaz Sanchez

Jose Luis works as economist in the Macro Fiscal Management department of the World Bank. Previously, he worked in the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department as Technical Assistance Advisor and Fiscal Economist. He also held different assignments at the Office of the WB’s Chief Economist, the WB’s Independent Evaluation Group, the IMF’s European Department, and the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. He holds a PhD in economics from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris School of Economics). He published papers in macroeconomics, including in issues related to housing macro-linkages, public finance, and internal and external imbalances.
