Jose Maria Casado is a Senior Economist in the Microeconomic Analysis Division at the Banco de Espania. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Economics from University College London. His research focuses on household consumption and wealth, applied microeconometrics and fiscal microsimulation. Previously, he was seconded to the Bank of England as a Senior Economist, worked as an Economist in the Banco de Espania Monetary Policy Division and also as a part-time lecturer at the University of Zaragoza.
