Joshua Linn

Senior Economist at Council of Economic Advisers

Joshua Linn is currently serving as a Senior Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers. In the summer he will be returning to Resources for the Future, where he is a Senior Fellow. Prior to joining Resources for the Future he was an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Research Scientist at MIT. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT in 2005. His research centers on the effect of environmental regulation and market incentives on technology, with particular focus on the electricity sector and markets for new vehicles. He has published in leading general interest and field journals in environmental, energy, and health economics.
