Julia Le Blanc is an Economist at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. Her research focuses on households’ savings and consumption decisions, inequality and homeownership in Europe, combining micro data and computational tools. She has previously held positions in the research department of the Deutsche Bundesbank, the European Central Bank and in the Central Bank of Ireland. Julia holds a PhD in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt and an MSc from Universita’ Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
