Julio Escolano

Advisor at the Fiscal Affairs Department at International Monetary Fund

Julio Escolano is an Adviser at the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF. He was previously in the European Department, where he worked on the United Kingdom, Spain, Albania and other European countries. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. He currently works on public debt sustainability, among other macro-fiscal policy topics.
