Kai KAJITANI

Professor, Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University

Kai Kajitani is a Professor at the Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University. He earned a doctoral degree in economics from Kobe University in 2001 and is a Professor at the Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University. He focuses on the study of the modern Chinese economy. His research interests include financial policy, local public finance, and the real estate market. He also is the author of Political Economy of Reform in China (Co-authored with Tomoki KAMO, Springer, 2022), The Fiscal and Financial System in Modern China: The Economics of Globalization and Central-Local Relations (Nagoya Daigaku Shuppankai, 2011), and other works.
